Phrasebook<\/span>\u00a0makes it quite simple for you. It is directed at anyone who would like to learn the Kurmanji language \u2013 whether as a holiday-goer, culture- or language enthusiast, partner, student, or employee. It is particularly suitable for learning on the go and for spontaneous reference in everyday situations when travelling and in contact with Kurds.
\nFirstly, you will be briefly introduced to the special features of the Kurdish language before moving on to the basics such as numbers, units of measurement and time. The rest of the content includes German words, questions and statements with the respective Kurdish translation. Important everyday topics such as meeting people, finding your way, going to a restaurant, shopping and health are covered – each with helpful words and questions. This is followed by a broad vocabulary with frequently used nouns (e.g. countries and languages, education and profession, diseases and medication) adjectives and verbs. You will also be equipped with a vocabulary for emergencies! You can use the book as a reference book at any time if you get stuck.<\/p>\n
