Kurdish languages (Gorani, Kurmanji, Laki, Sorani and Zazaki) belong to the Iranian languages of the Indo-European language family. The book Kurdish Grammar is written in Erdełanî – this is a variant of Sorani with significant features of Kalhuri and Gorani. It is mainly spoken in Iran.
